I taught my first interior design course, how was the experience

I’ve been missing from the site lately, and if you follow me on social media, you’ve seen why: I had the chance and the joy of teaching an interior design course in Cluj Napoca.
I fondly remember the day of February 12, when I prepared the room excitedly for my first course. I can say with all my heart that it was one of the most beautiful experiences of my career so far …. I could not wait to talk for hours about interior design, and to have people just as enthusiastic about the subject around me. When the familyand friends can’t stand to hear you talk about architecture and interior design … it’s time to look elsewhere for passionate people, and fortunately for me I found them here. 🙂
I had a talented and energetic group, which exceeded my expectations in all respects. If that’s how all interior design students are, I never want to stop teaching. From people from the banking / economic field, to lawyers, engineers, students, doctors and many others … a group of beautiful and funny people, whom I had the pleasure of teaching to.
I structured this course as I would have wanted to learn the basics when I started this field: from mood board, to the psychology of color and lighting, design styles and visits to showrooms (find more details about the course structure here: https://edlab.ro/). In this way, I thank once again Kitchen for You and Delta Studio, who hosted a course in their showrooms in Cluj Napoca.
At the end of the course, the most satisfying aspect was to see that the students started their own projects where they asked me for little advice … and I hope this will be the beginning of the road for all 20 participants to arrange many story interiors. 🙂
Looking back, I can’t believe that the first course has already ended (mostly because I organized an advanced course with most of the graduates and the adventure continues :))). But for those curious about how it was at the beginners course, we got some “statements”, you can find them in the video below.
We start a new interior design course session for beginners on September 10, I look forward to seeing you!

Design life. To the fullest!
